Production

Owing to the developments and extensions in the past years, the floor space of our Szolnok plant where Béres products are produced with state-of-the-art technology is now close to 3,000 square meters.

At present the plant operates on three floors. The ground level houses the production, filling and packaging of solutions. The first floor is the place for solid drug production and packaging, and the second floor accommodates warehouses. Material flow among the three floors is facilitated by four cargo lifts.

In this plant, nearly 100 workers working under the supervision of six pharmacists ensure that our products reaching our customers are constantly of high quality. This work is supported by the quality assurance systems GMP, ISO 9001-2000 and HACCP.

In May 2006, the new modern distribution warehouse at the Szolnok site was opened suitable for storing 1,200 pallets of finished goods. Owing to the warehouse and the new technology introduced, we have managed to significantly speed up and increase the reliability of logistic operations, thus improving cost-efficiency and the standards of customer service.

The tender New Hungary Development Plan GOP-2. 1. 1./C helped us trigger the acquisition of an Uhlmann blister-cartoner machinery, which was put into service int he first quarter of 2009.

In 2009, 109 000 litres of our flagship product, Béres Drops and 309,185 million pieces of other products (3,047 million soft gelatine capsules, 3 350 million effervescent tablets, 10,140 million chewing tablets, 127,2 million tablets, 161,768 million film-coated tablets and 3,68 million capsules were produced) in Szolnok. Nearly 260 tons of raw materials were processed to produce them.
