Read this patient information leaflet carefully before applying this paramedicine.

With this over-the-counter paramedicine, you can treat mild, passing symptoms without medical supervision. For the optimal effect however, it is essential that the preparation is administered carefully, according to the specifications.
Please keep the patient information leaflet, because you might need the information in it later on as well.

It is a paramedicine, the effect of which is verified by data in medical literature.

What active substances does the preparation contain?
Active substance: 750 mg glucosamine sulphate (Glucosamini sulfas), 400 mg chondroitin sulphate sodium (Chondroitini natrii sulfas)/ effervescent.

What else does the preparation contain?
Auxiliary materials: water-free citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, water-free sodium carbonate, sorbitol, mannitol, polyethylene glycol 4000, sodium cyclamate, saccharin sodium, glucose syrup, Sunset yellow (E110), orange aroma (11413-72 Givaudan): natural flavouring substances, sucrose, maltodextrin, modified starch (E 1450).

What diseases is it recommended for?
For chronic joint disorders to relieve pain and improve movability, as well as to help regenerate the cartilage tissue.

Cases when you should not take the preparation?
The preparation cannot be taken in the cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or an auxiliary material, infrequently occurring hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose galactose malabsorption or saccharase isomaltase.

What do you need to know before taking the preparation?
If you have severe liver or kidney disorders you can take this preparation only under careful medical supervision. See your doctor before taking this preparation, if your doctor has previously informed you about your sensitivity to particular sugars or if you have severe liver or kidney disorders.

Can children take this preparation?
Owing to the lack of sufficient experience, do not give it to children below 12 years of age.

Can you take the preparation with other medicines?
Béres Porcerősítő effervescent may increase the absorption of simultaneously taken tetracyclines or reduce the absorption of penicillins and chloramphenicol from the gastrointestinal tract.
You can simultaneously take the preparation with pain relievers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines mainly in the beginning of the treatment and in case of the worsening of the condition.

What should pregnant women and nursing mothers consider?
Pregnant women and nursing mothers cannot take the preparation!

How and when should you take the preparation?
Take the effervescent dissolved in a glass of water within 1-1.5 hour after a meal.

What is the recommended dose?
1 effervescent per day as a course of treatment for adults and children over 12 years of age, for 4-6 weeks. The treatment can be repeated several times after suspending it for 2 months.

What side effects may the preparation have?
Allergic symptoms (hives, itching) may very rarely occur. Mild stomach pains, nausea, constipation or diarrhoea, abdominal bloating may rarely arise. Vision problems and hair loss may occur exceptionally. Oedema may occur in the cases of kidney disorders and/or heart diseases.

What do you need to make sure when taking this preparation?
Inform your doctor if you took more effervescents than prescribed. If you missed a dose, do not take a double dose next time, because you cannot substitute the missed quantity but may increase the risk of side effects. Continue the treatment as prescribed.

How to store the preparation?
Store it below oC in a dry place. Do not take the preparation after the expiry date printed on the packaging. Keep the preparation out of reach of children!

The effects of the preparation on driving capabilities and capabilities of the operation of machines
No such effects are known when applied in the recommended dose.
