Read this patient information leaflet carefully before applying this paramedicine. With this over-the-counter paramedicine, you can treat mild, passing symptoms without medical supervision. For the optimal effect however, it is essential that the preparation is administered carefully, according to the specifications. Béres Q10, 30 mg capsule
It is a paramedicine. Its effect is verified by data in medical literature.

What active substances does it contain?
It contains vitamins and trace elements essential for the energy production of cells.
Active substances in 1 capsule: coenzyme Q10 (ubidecarenonum) 30 mg, vitamin E (tocopheroli acetas) [in the form of tocopheryl acetate] 10 mg (10 IU),vitamin B3 (nicotinamidum) 3 mg, zinc (zincum) [in the form of zinc sulphate] 2 mg, manganese (manganum) [in the form of manganese sulphate] 0.5 mg, copper (cuprum) [in the form of copper gluconate] 0.2 mg, selenium (selenium) [in the form of selenic acid] 0.02 mg.

What else does the preparation contain?
Auxiliary materials: mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, colloid silicon dioxide, gelatine and colourings
(E127, E132, E171, E172).

What is the preparation recommended for?
AIt is recommended to ensure the micronutrients (vitamins, trace elements) necessary for the increased energy production of the cells during prolonged, intense physical and mental activity or stress. It is also a supplementary therapy for ischaemic heart diseases to support the functioning of the heart.
To enhance the organism’s resistance.

When should you avoid taking this preparation?
Do not take this preparation if you are allergic to any of the active substances or auxiliary materials and have a kidney disorder or hereditary copper metabolism disorders (Wilson disease).

What do you need to know before taking it?
Out of the active substances of the preparation, Q10 (ubiquinone) is an essential element of electron transport in energy production processes. In addition, Q10 is an immediate antioxidant, owing to which it has a membrane stabilising effect. Vitamin E also has an antioxidant effect; its main biochemical function is to protect membranes containing unsaturated fatty acids and other cell constituents from free radicals. The preparation’s trace elements (manganese, copper, zinc, selenium) also play important biochemical roles in the functioning of the antioxidant protective system.

Can children take this preparation?
As there is no data available about its application in children, out of general caution it is not recommended for children.

Can you take the preparation with other medicines?
It can carefully be taken together with warfarin or coumarin derivatives because their effect may increase.
It can carefully be taken together with orally administered iron preparations (vitamin E taken in high doses may reduce the efficacy of the iron supply), and vitamin A (vitamin E may increase vitamin A absorption) and vitamin K (because it influences its effect, so it may cause the lengthening of the coagulation, especially in vitamin K deficient patients). At least 2 hours should pass between taking a medicine containing penicillamine and Béres Q10 30 mg capsule!

What do you need to consider during pregnancy and lactation?
Owing to the lack of related trials it is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation out of general caution.

How and when should you take the preparation?
Take the capsule whole without chewing with little liquid during a meal if possible.

What is the recommended dose?
1-3 capsules per day for adults.

What side effects may be induced by the preparation?
No side effect is known if taken in the prescribed dose.

What else should you make sure during the application of the preparation?
Do not take the preparation after the expiry date.

How long can you take the preparation?
The preparation can be taken until the condition justifying the application persists.

How to store the preparation?
Store it below 25°C in a dry place.
