Why do we recommend this preparation?
With once daily administration, the effervescent tablet, containing 1500 mg glucosamine sulphate, contributes to the easing of symptoms caused by the degenerative changes in our joints. We recommend this preparation as an alternative option to patients who dislike the tablet format.

In what cases is the preparation recommended?

• To ease mild and moderately severe symptoms of the degenerative changes in the knee joint
• To ease the symptoms of osteoarthritis in the knee joint

Additional important information:
Glükózamin Béres is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drug.

The beneficial effect of glucosamine sulphate on joints¹:

• normalises the changed metabolism of the joint cartilage
• regenerates damaged cartilage
• has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, but does not cause gastric mucosa irritation, so it does not generate gastrointestinal side effects characterising NSAIDs
• its administration is recommended as a course of treatment, as it builds up its effect in 2-3 weeks and the effect persists for some time even in the absence of further treatment.

Dosing:

• For adults: 1 effervescent per day in a course of treatment

Take the effervescent dissolved in a glass of water within 1-1.5 hour after a meal.

Suitability for people with high blood pressure	Note: Glükózamin Béres effervescent tablet can be administered with caution if you know you are at a risk of cardio-vascular diseases, because there have been reports of increased cholesterol level (hypercholesterolemia) in some people taking glucosamine.
